Russia joins international tax data sharing agreement
MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Tax Service signed an international agreement to share information about taxpayers on Thursday.
Russia will become the 84th member of the accord, it will start to submit information automatically from 2018. The Russian tax authorities will receive data on residents starting from 2017.
The list of information covered by the sharing agreement includes data about the investment yield of residents, including interest, dividends and similar sources of income, and in some cases, accounting balance details. A wider range of data can be exchanged.
